About Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge
Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge, founded by Paul and Lyndel, is located on Aore Island, Vanuatu. After selling their businesses on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, in 2012, they made the move to Vanuatu to create this island retreat.
Before relocating, Paul and Lyndel ran one of Australia’s top dive centers, Sunreef Scuba Diving in Mooloolaba, for 12 years, alongside a popular supermarket and deli at Alexandra Headland. Their passion for diving brought them to Santo in 2003, and in 2012, they established their dive operation on Aore Island.
At Aore Adventure Sports, we offer a relaxed, no-fuss tropical holiday experience for singles, couples, families, and small groups. Enjoy modern waterfront accommodation, private sandy beaches, and exciting, safe scuba diving, or simply unwind in paradise.
Our facility is Vanuatu’s longest-established dive center and the only PADI 5-Star Dive Facility (S-23490), providing the highest service and standards in the dive industry.
Paul, a qualified PADI IDC Staff Instructor (468105), also holds ratings from TDI, SDI, and PADI Emergency First Aid. Our experienced team, including our head dive guide Alfred Niko (“Alfred Numba 1”), a PADI Assistant Instructor with over 13,500 dives on the SS President Coolidge, ensures the highest level of safety and expertise for every dive.

I’ve had experience with other PADI instructors before and often found the courses they ran were not as thorough as I would have liked, so it was important to me that this course was of a high standard.
